Welcome to the “Learning to Live” blog: I am Xavi Argemí Ballbè, here you will find a collection of all the interviews and articles related to the book “Learning to Die in Order to Live” (Catalan edition: Editorial Rosa dels Vents; Spanish edition: Editorial Grijalbo; English Edition: Amazon KDP) where I explain my life experiences in order to help people who are going through difficulties and hard circumstances and try to make sense of it all.

However, I will also try to answer anything you want to know about the book and anything that it has suggested or questions that it has generated. Probably many of you do not know me, well, I suffer from a degenerative disease called Duchenne muscular dystrophy which makes me lose muscle strength over time, which has led me to have many limitations and extreme situations of difficulty and severity but trying not to lose the positivity, optimism and good humor that has always been present in my home.

As a result of all this, I had the opportunity to write a book where I make a deep reflection on my life. So, I invite you to read my book where you will discover my story.

Short biography

Xavi Argemí, born in Sabadell in 1995 and currently living in Matadepera, graduated in Multimedia from UOC and currently working as a freelance multimedia designer and writer to generate optimism in people. He is the author of “Learning to Die in Order to Live,” originally written in Catalan and later translated into Spanish. His biography can be found in the pages of the aforementioned book. In short, we could say that he has a fairly normal life, except for the fact that he was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease called Duchenne muscular dystrophy as a child. In this book, he explains how to live with it.
